Brain washing aliens

It’s amazing when Jonas shows signs of actual human behavior.

Little things really. A contented lip smack after a big yawn. Arms outstretched when sleeping on his side. The calm look of satisfaction after a good nap.

It reminds me that this strange visitor is not just some alien that lives in my house and oozes white cheese all over my new shirt. The dude’s like a miniature person. A permanent miniature person.

And yet, that permanent part doesn’t scare me anymore.
